What does the Meisner Intensive Workshop entail?


Over 6 days, we will take a deep-dive into the Meisner Technique and Meisner Repetition Game.

Meisner Technique focuses on allowing the actor to be truly present through active listening and spontaneous response. Working in pairs, you will explore the Repetition Game, improvising different scenarios, learning to trust your instincts and make immediate choices. As the week progresses, we will add more complex tasks to the scenarios, as well as upping the stakes. These added elements help to create more tension between scene partners and encourage more truthful, powerful performances.


By the end of the course, you will have mastered skills and techniques that you can utilise every time you take on a new acting role! You will be amazed at how your approach to acting completely changes after you've explored Meisner Technique.

Do I need previous Meisner experience?


This course is open to actors at all stages of their career, from recent drama school graduates, to those who have been in the industry for many years. No prior experience of Meisner is needed as we will guide you step by step through the Meisner Technique and the Repetition Game.
